Now that Back In Stock is installed, it's time to create your first notification to re-engage shoppers lost to stock-outs.

1. Go to a product page of an out of stock product and look for an "Notify when available" button.

It should be located next to the "Add to cart" button or on the left side of the screen.

2. Click the button and type in your email address to signup for a notification when the product is restocked.

If you don't see the button, we might need to manually set up our integration of your store's theme.

Just drop an email to back-in-stock-support@appikon.com with the URL of the product page.

3. Head back to the Back In Stock dashboard and you'll see your first notification show up in the 'Product' and "Customer Notifications "tab.

Once the product is restocked in Shopify, an email/ web push notification/ Messenger message/ SMS will be sent and the dashboard will be updated.

All this is done automatically by Back In Stock when the product's inventory level changes.
