Honeycomb applies an automated priority system.

The more specific your funnel setup is, the higher priority it gets.

The automated priority works as follows (when marked A > B, it means A is higher in priority than B):

High

Specific product trigger + cart value condition >

Specific product trigger >

Specific collections trigger + cart value condition >

Specific collection trigger >

Show to all + cart value condition >

Show to all

Low

PLEASE NOTE: in 99% of cases, you do not need to use the manual priority checkbox.

If you do, it will only work in case the funnels have the exact same automated priority AND the exact same funnel type (cross-sell) and the exact same placement (product page / cart page / checkout / etc)

Example 1:

Funnel #1

Cart page funnel

Cross-sell

Specific products trigger - product A

Funnel #2

Cart page funnel

Cross-sell

Specific products trigger - product B

Notice both funnels have the same automated priority, same type and same placement!

Scenario:

A customer added A and B to the cart

The customer clicks on checkout

Result:

Without setting a manual priority - the most recent funnel which was created will show - Funnel #2

Now let's see the same example with a manual priority setting:

Example 2:

Funnel #1

Cart page funnel

Cross-sell

Specific products trigger - product A

Manual priority set to 1

Funnel #2

Cart page funnel

Cross-sell

Specific products trigger - product B

Manual priority set to 2

Scenario:

A customer added A and B to the cart

The customer clicks on checkout

Result:

The higher priority funnel shows - Funnel #1
