Some merchants experiment with pricing, so the current price in the store might not be the same as on the original order of the return.

By default, if a customer in this scenario wants to exchange an item, the variants will appear as greyed out with a text "(Different Price)".

If you want to allow for exchanges even if the price of the new variant is higher then follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Return Settings

  2. Click the tab for Variant-Exchanges

  3. Disable the option for "Enable Same-Price exchanges only"

  4. Click save

Note

We do not handle charging the customer for a higher price. This is handled by your staff e.g. through a draft order with an invoice being sent to the customer.
